AMD Radeon RX 9070XT Graphics Card Unboxing

The Radeon RX 9070 XT will be a graphics card by AMD, that is expected to launch in March 2025. Built on the 4 nm process, and based on the Navi 48 graphics processor, in its Navi 48 XT variant, the card supports DirectX 12 Ultimate. This ensures that all modern games will run on Radeon RX 9070 XT. Additionally, the DirectX 12 Ultimate capability guarantees support for hardware-raytracing, variable-rate shading and more, in upcoming video games. The Navi 48 graphics processor is a large chip with a die area of 390 mm². It features 4096 shading units, 256 texture mapping units, and 96 ROPs. The card also has 64 raytracing acceleration cores. AMD has paired 16 GB GDDR6 memory with the Radeon RX 9070 XT, which are connected using a 256-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 2400 MHz, which can be boosted up to 2970 MHz, memory is running at 2438 MHz (19.5 Gbps effective).

Being a dual-slot card, the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT draws power from 2x 8-pin power connectors, with power draw rated at 260 W maximum. Display outputs include: 1x HDMI 2.1a, 3x DisplayPort 2.1. Radeon RX 9070 XT is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 4.0 x16 interface. The card's dimensions are 267 mm x 111 mm x 50 mm, and it features a dual-slot cooling solution.

Best Ryzen 9800X3D gaming pc build, AMD Ryzen 7 RTX 4090D pc build

Best Ryzen 9800X3D gaming pc build, AMD Ryzen 7 RTX 4090D pc build        I just wrapped up helping my friend build his first-ever custom gaming PC, and we went all out with top-tier hardware for 2025! Colorful RTX4090D White Vulcan, AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, and a sleek Huntkey S980 Blizzard case, this build is an absolute beast. But it wasn’t all smooth sailing—we faced some catastrophic failures (including dead-on-arrival fans) and compatibility challenges that almost made my friend want to quit and go back to console gaming. 😅                       The 4090 is a monster and will be the second most powerful GPU after the  RTX 5090. Plenty content showing the 4090 outperforming a 5080. So look at it like this.. I helped My Friend build a PC that will remain relevant in the upper scales of performance for many years.. Not to mention that the 9800X3D is one of the best if not best CPU in terms of performance for...

CPU vs GPU vs NPU: What's the difference?

CPU vs GPU vs NPU: What's the difference?   With the advent of AI comes a new type of computer chip that's going to be used more and more. By now you've probably all heard of the CPU, the GPU, and more recently the NPU. Let's untangle the difference between these different computing units and how to best use them. But first, a history lesson. (image credit : Intel) A bit of history First introduced in the 1960s, CPUs (central processing units) are the beating heart of all computers, responsible for performing all basic operations. Designed to be versatile and capable of handling a wide range of instructions and operations, they are ideal for running operating systems, productivity software, and many other general-purpose applications. However, with the advent of the first 3D video games and advanced graphics applications, the limitations of CPUs became apparent. Designed for general-purpose computing, their architecture was not optimized for the massive parallel process...
